German native Thomas Parisch studied oboe performance, theory, jazz, and other popular genres, but it was his love of both music (in all its guises) and storytelling that led to him follow the path to becoming a composer. His studies took him from the University of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart, to Berklee College of Music, and then on to USC’s Scoring for Motion Pictures and Television program.
His passion for the emotional impact of music led him to shift his focus toward video game composition, contributing music to “Resident Evil 6” and Tencent Games. His contributions to “Honor of Kings” have been performed live in concert and his soundtrack for “Moonlight Blade” fuses Eastern and Western influences.
