Thanks to a suggestion from Clare in our Level Discord chat, I checked out Laurence Chapman‘s soundtrack for Heaven’s Vault and it’s quite nice.

There are a handful of strings with piano/keyboard, so I’ll talk about that texture, and it’ll get dramatically more nerdy when I talk about the Dorian mode.
